Who says you have to get “dressed up” to sport a gem-set luxury watch?

Australian actor Jacob Elordi was all smiles during an appearance on the TODAY show on Tuesday, where he talked about playing Elvis Presley in the new movie Priscilla, which will be released on November 3. He paired a cable-knit sweater with relaxed-fit jeans that made for a casual outfit. The Cartier Tank Must watch and diamond tennis bracelet seen on the star’s wrists, however, gave the ensemble a dose of polish.

Elordi sported the large edition of the watch, whose steel case and bezel are set with 42 brilliant-cut diamonds totaling 0.48 carats. It houses a silvered dial with blued-steel sword-shaped hands, and its beaded crown is set with a cabochon-shaped spinel. The watch is powered by a high-efficiency quartz movement (launched in 2018) that provides you with extra-long battery life. You can buy one of your own for $6,850.

In his interview with Hoda Kotb, the 26-year-old actor talked about portraying the “King of Rock and Roll” and the “surreal” experience of watching the film with Elvis’s ex-wife Priscilla, who’s the subject of the movie. She joined the cast at the 80th Venice International Film Festival in September where Elordi rocked a Bottega Veneta suit with Tiffany’s accessories for on the red carpet. Cailee Spaeny stars in the titular role; previously she’d appeared in Pacific Rim Uprising and The Craft Legacy.

Elordi’s casual TODAY show outfit mirrors one recently worn by Sir Paul McCartney in Australia. The ex-Beatles bandmate paired a zippered hoodie and jeans for an intimate Q&A with fans ahead of a concert, but he didn’t stop there. He added a $24,250 Patek Philippe Aquanaut to the mix that elevated his look, proving you don’t need to be wearing a tuxedo to strap on a seriously impressive timepiece.
