Jacob Elordi is staying booked and busy after having two hits land at the box office this year in Saltburn and Priscilla.

Deadline revealed that the Australian star will now lead Guillermo del Toro's Frankenstein, taking over from Andrew Garfield. Garfield reportedly had to leave the project due to scheduling conflicts.

Guillermo del Toro announced that Christoph Waltz would also join the cast during Collider's 10th anniversary IMAX screening of Pacific Rim in October.

Now the ensemble is set with Felix Kammerer, Lars Mikkelsen, David Bradley and Christian Convery also joining Waltz and Elordi, as well as the previously announced Oscar Isaac and Mia Goth.

The film's synopsis, as per IMDb, follows Dr. Pretorious, who needs to track down Frankenstein's monster, who is believed to have died in a fire forty years before, in order to continue the experiments of Dr. Frankenstein.

Dan Laustsen, who previously shot del Toro's Best Picture winner, The Shape of Water, is listed as cinematographer, with Alexandre Desplat slated to score.

J. Miles Dale joins Guillermo del Toro as producer.
