Jacob Elordi Just Shared the Sweetest ‘Kissing Booth’ Pic With His Ex Joey King

The Kissing Booth 3 is finally out on Netflix, and it’s—yep—the second movie in a row that exes Jacob Elordi and Joey King had to film together since their breakup. And while there was some drama around the release of The Kissing Booth 2 [ahem: fans thought Jacob looked “miserable” in the promo, then he claimed he hadn’t watched the movie, then Joey called him out], it looks like the former couple are on good terms.

At least, that’s the vibe we’re getting from Jacob posting a sweet throwback photo of himself and Joey in the kissing booth to his Instagram Story. The photo has since expired but has been reposted to several Jacob fan accounts. Per Us Weekly, his original caption said, “And one from the start @joeyking. Joey also tagged her ex in an Insta post, writing in the caption, “My first time at the booth, and my last time. 5 years apart. Thank you Elle, I’ve loved being you. And thank you to everyone who had a hand in making these movies what they are. The Kissing Booth 3 is now streaming on Netflix. ❤️ The end of an era, excuse me while I go sob in a corner somewhere.”

As a reminder, these two met on-set of the first Kissing Booth movie and immediately became friends. As Joey told Bello:

Obviously, they didn’t end up working out (but have clearly remained friendly!), and nowadays, Jacob’s dating model Kaia Gerber, while Joey’s in a relationship with producer Steven Piet.
