IDK about y’all, but this season of Big Brother is giving me a HEADACHE. A reality show is only as enjoyable as its cast, and this cast is...kind of the worst! Between the racism, the bullying, and the general lack of awareness and brainpower, season 21 of the CBS show has been a struggle for fans to watch. Three out of only five people of color in the house have already been evicted, which only leaves contestants Bella Wang and Jessica Milagros. Oh, and Jess has been nominated for eviction multiple times already, while Bella is currently sitting on the elimination block.

It’s a bad look for everyone involved, but it’s made worse by contestant Jack Matthews. After making multiple racist and violent remarks toward the houseguests of color, Jack was warned by production to knock it off. However, CBS chose not to air any of his comments, and infuriated fans started a petition to get him kicked off the show.

One would think a warning would be enough for Jack to stop making degrading comments about fellow houseguests, but alas, here we are! The dollar-store version of Jason Momoa is at it again, and this time he’s targeting the only Asian person in the house: Bella.

After Jack and other members of the Gr8ful alliance blindsided Bella and Nick Maccarone by voting to evict Cliff Hogg instead of Nicole Anthony, Bella was furious. She called out her supposed alliance and used the phrase “the proof is in the pudding.”

Later on, members of the alliance were discussing what happened, and contestant Tommy Bracco repeated the “proof is in the pudding” phrase that Bella used. Jack then jumped in and added, “The rice pudding.” STFU

The other houseguests (Tommy, Christie Murphy, Kathryn Dunn, and Analyse Talavera) didn’t seem to register the racist undertone of Jack’s comment. It appears Tommy thought he meant “slop pudding,” which is a fortified oatmeal mixture that houseguests have to eat when they’re a have-not. It was only after another contestant brought up Jack’s comment that Christie and Tommy realized what he meant.

Christie knew how it would look to “the fans,” so she said, “I don’t think [Jack] meant it like that.”

TBD on whether he’ll actually suffer any consequences from his remarks though. Some people just never learn. *sigh*
