In celebration of the launch of the new colorways of the New Balance 550 at Foot Locker, New Balance has combined the worlds of sport and culture with a new campaign featuring brand ambassador and multiple GRAMMY-nominated rapper, actor, philanthropist, and entrepreneur Jack Harlow.

The campaign spotlights Harlow’s hometown of Louisville, Kentucky, as the multi-channel campaign positions the 550 as a universally wearable staple and global style favorite for the Foot Locker consumer across the globe.

New Balance

The new colorways include Sea Salt, Reflection, Olivine, retailing for $110, and Dark Olivine and Reflection, Sea Salt & Grey Matter, retailing for $120. The sneakers will be available globally on February 22 and sold exclusively at Foot Locker, Kids Foot Locker, and Champs Sports.

The original New Balance 550 debuted in 1989 and made its mark on basketball courts from coast to coast. After its initial run, the 550 was filed away in the archives. The 550 was reintroduced with limited-edition releases in late 2020 and returned to the full-time lineup in 2021, quickly leading in popularity.
