Jack Harlow brought the heat for his performance at the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards— and invited pop songstress Fergie along for the ride.

The rapper opened up the VMAs with a performance of his chart topping song "First Class" which samples Fergie's 2006 hit song "Glamorous." The performance saw Harlow rap while sporting a flight attendant inspired outfit before stripping into a suave sequin black top and matching slacks. Fergie also looked dazzling a silver sparkling co-ord set with "First Class" printed across the ensemble.

The "Nail Tech" rapper made a fashion statement on the VMAs black carpet earlier in the evening as well, opting for a leather suit and chocolate brown dress shirt and matching sunglasses courtesy of Hermes.

In addition to tonight's performance and his hosting stint alongside fellow rappers Nicki Minaj and LL Cool J, Harlow also appeared in Harper's BAZAAR's Icons portfolio for this month's September issue.

"I feel the most iconic on stage, at a big festival or in a big sold-out room, when I control a crowd, when everything I say is going over and I just have this connection with thousands of people," Harlow told BAZAAR. "I would like people to think of me as real and one of one. And I’d like for people to know me as someone who gave back and lifted the community he’s from up. I’d like for Kentucky to be different after I leave earth and for people to have a better life because of it."
