Jace Norman made waves last month when he launched his new business, Creator Edge Media. As part of his new venture, Jace is pulling together an insane roster of social media influencers (including his Henry Danger co-star Sean Ryan Fox) to deliver high quality branded content to millions of viewers on social media.

If his business sounds familiar, it's because it's a similar business model made popular by YouTuber Jake Paul's extremely successful social media collective, Team 10.

But there's something that sets Creator Edge Media apart according to Jace: It's not all about the views.

Jace opened up about his new business venture with Seventeen.com. "What these other companies don’t understand is that it’s not about just throwing products in front of people’s eyeballs," Jace explained. "It’s about what those eyeballs think of the people that are doing it. So, it’s really important that you make the advertising and the influencers that you have integrate nicely into it."

Jace handpicked a roster of stars like GameShakers cutie Thomas Kuc and Nicky, Ricky, Dicky and Dawn star Casey Simpson to be a part of Creator Edge because he knows they have the cool factor an agency like his needs. "Like Kylie Jenner, when she posts a picture wearing something, it sells because people want to be like her and emulate her style," Jace explained about how he picked his team. "It’s kind of hard to put your finger on it but it’s kind of like that cool factor. You know what I mean? It’s all about going with the cool. You you can tell when someone strays off the path. And so, it’s definitely about that. I don’t think many people understand that."

Speaking of straying off the path, Creator Edge may have come just at the right time. There's been a recent uptick in controversies surrounding social media stars who resort to bad behavior to garner more YouTube views. Most recently, Logan Paul came under fire for showing the body of an apparent suicide victim on camera while on a trip to Japan. Does Jace have a plan to avoid the pitfalls of social media stardom? Definitely. It's just to stay true to his mission.

"Logan Paul gets the most views, right?" Jace said. "But at the end of the day, when people look back, are they gonna be like 'Oh, I’m glad I was associated with that brand?' You know what I mean?"

Jace says that the new generation of social media users are sick of the same old tactics. "I think it’s a good thing that now people kind of see like 'Oh, it’s not just about getting the most views or making the most clickbait title.' It’s about who you are and what your brand represents and less about how crazy you can be."

It sounds like Creator Edge Media is going to be a breath of fresh air! Jace says you can expect some amazing content to start coming your way in February or March, so definitely go follow Creator Edge Media so you don't miss a thing!
