J.W. Anderson x Uniqlo Does British Prep for Spring 2023

It definitely would've made its way into the costume department of "Gossip Girl" season three.
Since its first drop in 2017, J.W. Anderson's collaboration for Uniqlo has been highly anticipated by fans of both brands. That'll likely be the case again on Thursday, when the retailer releases its Spring 2023 collection, called "A Sporting Way of Life," in the U.S.
"This season reworks our idea of classic sportswear," Jonathan Anderson said, in a statement, calling out pieces like "a traditional cricket jumper alongside technical sports leggings or hand-drawn traditional British sporting team motifs on technical swim shorts and more traditional knitted polo shirts."
The Spring 2023 collection pays homage to British prep, inspired by the sportswear you might see at university. There are pleats and stripes galore, on warm-weather pieces Uniqlo is well known for, such as linen blazers and shirt dresses. Prices range from $39.90 (for shirts and skirts) to $99.90 (for outerwear).

Highlights include a tennis skirt that easy to style on and off the court and a trench coat-inspired belted dress worthy of Blair Waldorf's closet.
