If you've been wondering where Jennifer Lopez gets her inspiration to act, sing, dance, and be a mother while doing it all, today she reminded us: Her mom, Guadalupe, celebrated her 74th birthday today.

"People ask me where I get my energy from, my drive, my dance moves," Lopez captioned a sweet birthday message on Instagram as a tribute to her mom. "Well now you know...Guadalupe...my mommy."

The caption accompanies a clip of Lopez bringing her mom—also known as "Lupe"—out on stage during one of her concerts–and the two shake it like there's no tomorrow to the song 'Hold It Don't Drop It.'

Lopez added in her note: "For as long back as I can remember, I can see her dancing, laughing and lighting up every room she was in. She is the definition of youthful and timeless at every age."

Always her daughter's number one fan, in the video, Lopez's mom can be seen mouthing the lyrics and hitting the choreographed dance impeccably as her daughter performs. Although unclear whether Lupe was expecting to be pulled onstage in this video, what is clear is that no amount of screaming fans or glaring spotlight could get in the way of her incredible rhythm and energy.

This is not the first time Lopez has paid tribute to her mom on social media. On Mother's Day in previous years, the triple threat shared the unconditional love and light she gets from her mama.

Now that we fully understand the beautiful relationship Lopez shares with her mom–not to mention those killer dance moves–it's no wonder Lopez is so dedicated to her job as mom to her own 11-year-old twins Max and Emme. With all this talk about her desire to expand her family, we have no doubt Lopez will be passing on those show-stopping dance moves herself.
