J.Lo and Ben Affleck Reportedly Still Have a "Lot of Love for Each Other"

There's no love lost between Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck.

The former couple have been making headlines in recent days after Page Six reported that the pair are spending time together again following Lopez's split from fiancé Alex Rodriguez. Lopez and Affleck have seen each other on multiple occasions recently, including hanging out at Lopez's Los Angeles home.

Per People, though it's unclear whether or not Lopez and Affleck are headed back toward a romantic reunion, they've always maintained love and respect for each other over the years, even in the aftermath of their early-aughts split. "They have spent time together in L.A. over the past week," a source revealed. "They have a lot of love for each other. They have always admired each other."

Sources also told Entertainment Tonight that despite Lopez and Affleck's romantic history and recent hangouts, the two are "just friends" (for now at least). "Jen and Ben have remained friends over the years and the two are still just that - friends," one insider said.

Affleck recently expressed his endless admiration for J.Lo in a cover story for InStyle magazine. The actor and director was one of multiple close friends and colleagues who shared their favorite life memories alongside the superstar.

"I thought I had a good work ethic, but I was completely humbled and blown away by what she was committed to doing day in and day out, the seriousness in which she took her work, the quiet and dedicated way she went about accomplishing her goals, and then how she would go back and redouble her efforts," Affleck told the magazine. "She remains, to this day, the hardest-working person I've come across in this business. She has great talent, but she has also worked very hard for her success, and I'm so happy for her that she seems, at long last, to be getting the credit she deserves."
