Jennifer Lawrence is calling out critics who judged her decision to wear a revealing Versace dress at a recent photo call while her male costars covered up in scarves and coats. The Red Sparrow star took to Facebook this morning to address the "controversy" and defend her decision to wear the stunning gown.

"This is not only utterly ridiculous, I am extremely offended," Lawrence wrote. "That Versace dress was fabulous, you think I'm going to cover that gorgeous dress up with a coat and a scarf? I was outside for 5 minutes. I would have stood in the snow for that dress because I love fashion and that was my choice."

Lawrence, an outspoken feminist, also clarified that a woman's outfit is her own decision. "This is sexist, this is ridiculous, this is not feminism," she continued. "Over- reacting about everything someone says or does, creating controversy over silly innocuous things such as what I choose to wear or not wear, is not moving us forward. It's creating silly distractions from real issues. Get a grip people. Everything you see me wear is my choice. And if I want to be cold THATS MY CHOICE TOO!"

J.Law's frustration is understandable after some tabloids focused on how little she was wearing in reports on her appearance at the London Red Sparrow photo call.

Metro wrote, "'Depressing' Image of Jennifer Lawrence in Tiny Dress on Freezing While Men Wear Coats Sparks Fury." Mirror's headline was, "Jennifer Lawrence Shivers in PLUNGING Dress with Gaping Thigh-Split That Looks Just Like Elizabeth Hurley's Iconic Versace Gown. And The Daily Wire asked, "Why Is Jennifer Lawrence Nearly Naked on a Rooftop in the Freezing Cold?"

For the record, J.Law did wear a jacket when she arrived to the event. She just removed the coat and sunglasses so she could show off the 'fit in the photoshoot.

Keep doing you, Jen.
