As someone who spends a good amount of time working from home, I gravitate toward soft, buttery cottons, including cozy sweats, shorts, leggings, and any top or bodysuit that doesn’t require me to wear an actual bra. During a late night Amazon shopping session hunting for the perfect cotton cami, I hit the jackpot—and it costs just $5 apiece.
The Boao cropped camisole tops have more than 8,700 perfect five-star ratings from Amazon shoppers for a reason: They are simple, comfortable, well-made, and you aren’t going to find a better option for less than the price of a Venti Frapuccino. Made with a blend of 95 percent cotton and 5 percent spandex, they have delicate spaghetti straps and a banded bottom. The top is so buttery soft that I easily forget I’m wearing one, but it also offers just enough stretch in the right places for light support.

The camis are sold in a number of different color options and combinations. I started with the black, white, and gray pack, but have since added other colors to the mix. I wear them to bed at night, during the day with sweats, leggings, or shorts, and also wear them layered under button down shirts and sweaters. They also look great with a pair of cutoffs or high waisted baggy denim. These camis are probably the most versatile and worn items in my wardrobe, as I gravitate towards them daily.
I will note that they don’t offer enough support for exercise or other strenuous activities, however, some reviewers do wear them with a bra. The brand also makes an equally popular racerback top better suited for sweating.
