Ivanka Trump has a history of tweeting about women's issues, and International Women's day is no exception.

Ivanka tweeted to celebrate the occasion, writing "Today we come together in recognition of women at home & around the globe. We celebrate women’s achievements, past & present, & pledge to empower women to reach their full economic potential for generations to come. When women thrive, we ALL succeed. #InternationalWomensDay."

The internet, as it tends to do, quickly called out Ivanka for being so pro-women on Twitter when it seems like she's not really pro-women IRL. Since she became an adviser to her father last year, she hasn't been able to deliver on the feminist agenda she was hoping for. For example, one of her main goals while in office was to promote paid family leave. When she proposed her plan, though, legislators generally opposed it. She wanted to work on closing the wage gap, but then supported repealing an Obama-era rule that aimed to prevent pay discrimination because the policy was too burdensome for small businesses.

In response to the 15 women that have come forward to accuse her father of sexual assault and harassment, Ivanka said in a recent interview that she believes her father's denials. "I think I have that right as a daughter, to believe my father," she said. Her father has called the women's claims "fake news."

Despite all this, she's spoken in support of #MeToo, tweeted in support of Time's Up, and praised her father for declaring March Women's History Month. But in her defense, she did remove the phrase "passionate advocate for the education and empowerment of women and girls" from her Twitter bio. So that's something?
