Ivanka Trump Layers a Printed Caftan Over White Skinny Jeans in Miami

Ivanka Trump stepped out of her home in Miami over the weekend as she wore another beachside-style look. The former first daughter recently joined her family for an extended stay in Florida after departing Washington D.C. following the tenure of her father former President Donald Trump’s term in office.

Ivanka’s most recent outing came on Friday when she stepped out onto her balcony in a layered look. Joined by her dog, the 39-year-old layered a printed blue and white caftan dress over classic white skinny jeans.

When it comes to shoes, the former footwear head herself oftentimes prefers pumps for her more formal occasions; her go-to picks come from brands like Gianvito Rossi along with Jimmy Choo and Burberry. Though she wasn’t wearing shoes during her balcony outing today, Ivanka launched her own clothing and footwear line in 2011 before shuttering in 2018.

Last week, Ivanka steppe out in the Florida city once more in a white rolled-sleeve blouse layered over dark-wash skinny jeans with a straw wide-brim hat to match. To complete her beach town style, the former footwear head herself opted for black espadrilles. The slip-on shoes included a squared vamp with soft uppers and a rope-style outsole.

At the end of President Donald Trump’s term, the nation was still fumbling with the controversies that overtook the news cycle surrounding his office thus far in 2021. In January, the House of Representatives started its impeachment trials for President Trump following the violent riots led by his supporters that took place at the United States Capitol on Jan. 6.

The articles of impeachment were introduced by House Democrats under the charge of “incitement of insurrection.” As the House officially voted to impeach, the decision moved to the Senate at the end of January. On Sunday, though, the Senate voted to acquit President Trump, finding him not guilty of inciting the deadly attacks earlier this year.

The hearings this year are part of the second impeachment trials held against President Trump — the first took place from December 2019 to February 2020. The initial case ended in a Senate acquittal of the president on both impeachment articles.
