Issa Rae has been a Hollywood fixture for a minute now, from her YouTube days to Insecure, but she’s perhaps never been as prevalent as she is right now, thanks to her role as President Barbie in the Barbie movie. Since then, it seems like the actor has made an appearance at every red carpet or event. Most recently, she's been popping up at Paris Fashion Week, where she's been front row at the biggest shows, from Marni to Acne Studios and Chloé.

While attending Chloé’s Spring/Summer 24 runway show to watch Gabriella Hearst’s last collection for the iconic French brand, Rae wore a minimalist chic ensemble and a dark copper ponytail that just screams fall.

Her new dark red shade is what really caught our attention. All of Rae's hair was slicked back into a ponytail, which sat on the crown of her head. The look was secured with a wrap-around moment, before flowing into a long, wavy pony that emphasized the copper tones in her hair and traveled down the middle of her back.

Red hair—and red in general—is having a moment in beauty and fashion. Megan Fox just jumped on the red hair bandwagon in a big way with a cherry red bob. Julia Fox wore red hair earlier this year, and “cowgirl copper” has been spotted on celebs like Kendall Jenner, Emily Ratajkowski, Megan Thee Stallion, and more. Beyond hair, red has been one of the trendiest colors this fashion week, and seems to be fall’s go-to color for everything from nails to lips. So it makes sense why Rae would hop on the auburn hair trend this time of year.

Rae paired her copper hair with minimal makeup. She opted for matte skin that had a bit of highlight on the high points of her face. On her eyes, she wore a light smoky shade with eyeliner on both her upper and lower lash lines. She finished her look off with long, fluttering eyelashes and a rich berry-colored lip that was somewhere between red and purple. For nails, she opted for a medium-length rounded milky light pink (dare we say strawberry milk) manicure, which coordinated with her outfit.

The actress wore a flowy, silky white dress that was attached to a black off-the-shoulder neckline that almost looked like a T-shirt. The black accent matched her black leather belt, boots, and bag. The look was finished off with dangling pearl earrings, a thin gold chain, and a matching ring.
