When Lowe's first opened its doors to customers in 1921, its inventory consisted mostly of hardware and building materials. Fast forward to today, and the retailer has expanded its offerings into other home categories, such as decor and furniture. At 100 years young, Lowe's is continuing to dig its heels into the decorating space by partnering with fashion icon Iris Apfel, who will also hit triple digits this year.

Known for her eclectic and bold style, Apfel teamed up with the retailer to curate four different collections that are sure to jazz up your space. She is the first tastemaker to take part in Lowe’s House of Curators, a new series of decor curations from Lowe's that taps different style legends "to uncover covetable style at uncompromising value," as a press release reads.

Apfel's curated collections mix texture, color, and pattern across paint, textiles, and furnishings to create bold looks for both indoor and outdoor spaces at affordable price points. "I’ve always believed that one of the most important elements of home design is letting yourself shine," Apfel said in a statement. "For me, that means experimenting with unapologetic colors, eye-catching patterns, and being totally original."

Composed of already-existing products that have been refashioned in a new way, the curated collections are: Palm Beach in Your Backyard, Statement Making Style, Modern Maximalism, and the Centennial Color Palette. The latter curation features a range of quintessential paint colors from each decade (think: vibrant blues and reds of the 1920s, to relaxed earth tones of the '70s).

All products are available online; however, there will be select availability in stores. You can shop Apfel's curated collections here. To get a headstart, we've included a few of our top picks below!
