Few styles are as recognizable as the model off-duty look. Skinny jeans, leather jackets, and Dr. Martens are wardrobe essentials for new faces heading out to castings, but what happens when you’re a supermodel? Yesterday in Manhattan, Irina Shayk offered her own twist on the concept in a flirty yellow dress from Reformation. At just $78, the mustard colored mini was an affordable choice that spiced up Shayk’s staples, especially when paired with a matching mini-bag from her collection with the Kooples.

Shayk and her stylist, Marc Eram have been known to turn trends on their head. After using Burberry’s vintage check for a playdate last week and stomping around the Milan menswear shows in head-to-toe Versace, her Reformation ensemble is comparatively low key. Still, the combination of playful frock, grommet-covered Chrome Hearts leather jacket, and nano purse, felt refreshing.
