Halloween is weeks away, and just as we expected, celebrities are ushering in spooky season, between Vanessa Hudgens's witchy vibes to Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr.'s Halloween-themed date night. The latest celebrity to make a compelling case to embrace moody aesthetics is Irina Shayk, who stepped out in New York on Monday while giving a crash course on dark academia.

The supermodel was photographed channeling her inner New Yorker in an all-black look that included a crewneck sweater with a coordinating pair of slouchy trousers cinched with a skinny belt. A pair of black Adidas Sambas sneakers, a simple cross-chain necklace, and skinny black rectangular sunglasses served as the low-key outfit’s accessories. Perhaps the most notable part of the OOTD was her a black crocodile-embossed Birkin bag — with her puppy inside (It's giving goth Elle Woods).

As for her glam, she opted for a no-makeup, makeup look consisting of dewy skin with a glossy lip, and she styled her dark brown hair down in tousled waves with a side part.

Her outing comes shortly after reports revealed that Irina is a chill ex. The star allegedly played matchmaker and set up fellow model, Gigi Hadid with Bradley Cooper, Shayk's ex-boyfriend and father of her daughter Lea De Seine.

"Gigi was introduced to Bradley through Irina [Shayk] and their mutual friends in the industry," a source told The Messenger. "Gigi and Irina have been close over the years while working together, and Gigi and Bradley have hung out before, but it has always been friendly in social settings. Gigi and Bradley were in touch recently, and were bonding over their daughters, when Bradley asked her out."
