Ireland Baldwin Just Posted A Nude Photo Of Somebody Else, And Everyone's Confused
If you're in a #mood, Instagram is the place to let the people know. Or, uh, not know if you're Ireland Baldwin. The 23-year-old model's latest nude Instagram photo—simply captioned "mood"—has left some of her fans confused.
The pic in question is an artistic shot of a naked blonde laying facedown in a bed covered with white fur, which raised some alarms with her parents, Kim Basinger and Alec Baldwin.
"What ??? What ???? Where ??? Where ??? Who ???? Who??? Your MOM .....😡" Kim commented on her daughter's photo.
"@kim.basinger this isn’t me!!!!" Ireland replied, which, tbh, is a little confusing, given Ireland's penchant for posting nude pics.

Yes, the picture looks more like a painting than an actual photo (or maybe a much older photo?), but if it's not Ireland in the shot, who is it? Could it be an old shot of her model mom, perhaps a family inside joke?
Turns out, it's neither.
Thanks to Google's reverse image search function, the mystery of not-actually-Ireland's-nude has been solved. It's actually a film still from director Jacques Deray's 1969 film, La Piscine (The Swimming Pool), featuring actress Romy Schneider. The film follows a journalist in a love triangle following her ex-lover's death, and, just in case you couldn't already tell from the still, it's very dramatic.
However, without the context, Ireland's post is super-confusing for fans. Despite the fact that the post has racked up roughly 24,000 likes, the comments range from very angry to very into it. "You're giving your parents heart attacks. You're so beautiful and I'm sure talented too why seek negative attention by posting vulgar stuff," one commenter wrote.
Another was more supportive, saying, "she’s a big girl and can express herself as she wants to as she has been and I don’t think she’s going to stop anytime soon?! Sooo everyone needs to get over it."
Ireland, at least, is probably having a good laugh.
