Ireland Baldwin Gives Glimpse at First Week of Motherhood: 'What a Week'

Ireland Baldwin gave a glimpse at her first days of motherhood after giving birth to daughter Holland.

The 27-year-old shared photos of the newborn on Instagram, documenting their hospital stay with the caption "what a week."

The first photo zooms in on the little one gripping her mom's finger, showing her adorable, tiny hands. In another photo, Baldwin posed in the hospital bed wearing a camo-colored nightgown, doing the "hang loose" hand sign.

Baldwin also shared a photo of partner RAC (Andé Allen Anjos) holding Holland, as well as a photo of herself smiling in the hospital bed wearing a hoodie while resting next to her daughter. The new mom opted to hide Holland's face in pictures for her daughter's protection.

The model didn't just show the happy memories postpartum. She also shared some never-before-seen photos from moments before giving birth, including snaps of herself wearing what appears to be a fetal heart rate monitor while brushing her teeth.

Cousin Alaia Baldwin, who is Hailey Bieber's sister and gave birth to daughter Iris in 2020, championed Baldwin's strength amid a difficult pregnancy, writing, "A warrior woman queen 👑👑👑🔥🔥👏👏👏❤️❤️❤️." Carnie Wilson also left a sweet comment, noting, "I love everything about these pictures. It's such a precious miracle. You never knew you could move that big in your heart until you have children. ❤️Congrats to you both."

Baldwin was also congratulated by Martin Scorsese's 23-year-old daughter Francesca and Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman's adopted daughter Bella.

Holland was born on March 18, with Baldwin announcing the news on Instagram by sharing a photo of herself holding the newborn in the hospital bed alongside RAC. Baldwin's child was named after actress Holland Taylor, who shared her response to the honor with an Instagram comment. "It is with a special and affectionate delight that I congratulate you, Ireland, and sing out welcome to your darling Holland -!," Taylor wrote.
