As Airbnb has increased in popularity with travelers across the globe, the online rental marketplace has seen an influx of unique, off-the-beaten-path rentals. And one Airbnb in particular has really set the bar for one-of-a-kind rentals. Located in Decorah, Iowa, the CR Station Train Caboose is an actual train caboose that has been turned into a two-bedroom, one-bathroom Airbnb.

According to Insider, the train caboose, which dates back to 1973, was purchased by Iowa-based carpenter Jim Dotzenrod. Following his purchase, Dotzenrod transported the caboose from the scrapyard to his home, and then began the restoration process.

“My dad can do anything he sets his mind to — like, absolutely anything — but my dad is so low maintenance himself,” Danielle Dotzenrod, Jim’s 42-year-old daughter, said while speaking to Insider. “So when we built this together it was a good combo, because he could build whatever and have me nudging him like, ‘Hey, let’s make this as cool as we can.'”

On board, you'll find plenty of amenities, including cozy linens and towels, a refrigerator, microwave, a double burner hot plate and dishes for cooking. There's even barware for mixing up a cocktail or two!
