King Charles III's coronation is taking place today, and despite reports that the service would be pared down compared to prior services, the guest list is looking longer and longer every day.

Ahead, we break down everyone you can expect to see at the May 6 ceremony.

The British Royal Family

Among the 2,000 guests who will form the congregation in Westminster Abbey are members of the British royal family.

Prince William and Princess Catherine will attend. Their eldest child, Prince George, will serve during the ceremony as one of his grandfather's pages of honor. Though the RSVP status of the other Wales children, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, is unknown, the two were seen participating in the coronation rehearsal a few days before the ceremony.

Buckingham Palace and an Archewell spokesperson confirmed Prince Harry's attendance to BAZAAR.com in April. Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, will not be joining her husband, they said. "Buckingham Palace is pleased to confirm that The Duke of Sussex will attend the Coronation Service at Westminster Abbey on May 6th," the palace said in a statement. "The Duchess of Sussex will remain in California with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet."

(A spokesperson for the Sussexes previously confirmed to BAZAAR in March that the two "recently received" email correspondence from the monarch's Buckingham Palace household regarding the coronation, but had not decided if they would attend.)

The other royal family members we can expect to see at the historic occasion include the king's siblings—Princess Anne, Prince Andrew, and Prince Edward—as well as their children. These include Princess Beatrice, Princess Eugenie, Zara Tindall, Peter Phillips, Lady Louise, and James, Earl of Wessex. Full-time working royal Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh, will also likely attend.

Government Figures and Politicians

Various government figures from the U.K., the Commonwealth, and other parts of the globe will be present at the coronation.

U.K. Prime Minister Rishi Sunak will attend, as will former prime ministers Liz Truss and Tony Blair. Scotland's First Minister, Humza Yousaf, and Wales's First Minister, Mark Drakeford, will join the guest list, as well as Nicholas Lyons, the Lord Mayor of London.

The White House recently announced that first lady Jill Biden will attend the ceremony on behalf of President Joe Biden.

The queen consort's children and grandchildren will join the congregation in the abbey. These include her son, Tom Parker Bowles, and daughter, Laura Lopes. Her grandsons—Master Gus, Master Louis Lopes, and Master Freddy Parker Bowles—and her great-nephew, Master Arthur Elliot, will serve as her pages of honor during the ceremony.

Other relatives expected to be at the event include: her sister, Annabel Elliot; her nieces Alice Irwin, Katie Elliot, and Ayesha Shand; her nephew, Ben Elliot; and her granddaughters, Lola Parker Bowles and Eliza Lopes.

Members of the Public

Buckingham Palace previously announced that more than 850 community and charity representatives from across the United Kingdom have been invited to enjoy the coronation from Westminster Abbey.

These include more that 450 British Empire Medal recipients and 400 young people representing charitable organizations, nominated by King Charles, Queen Camilla, and the United Kingdom government. The guests will have the opportunity to watch the May 6 coronation and procession from St. Margaret's Church at Westminster Abbey.
