Introduction to Senior Rescue Dogs at 'Retirement Home' Is Making People's Day
We just can't pick a favorite!
One of the sad facts about dog adoption is that older dogs usually get looked over for their puppy counterparts. Senior dogs become homeless due to a number of reasons, either their owners have passed or they are too old to care for them, or the dog is sick and requires medication, or as they have advanced in years they have become harder to care for, especially if they need help going to the bathroom or walking up stairs. It's simply heartbreaking.
That's why we love rescues like TikTok account @VintagePetRescue who has dedicated their lives to caring for older dogs. The following clip introduces you to some of these pups and it's just too wonderful.
