Internet Reacts to Video of Dad Crowdsurfing Baby to Dwayne Johnson
The Rock was handed a baby while on stage for the 'Black Adam' press tour.
Dwayne Johnson received an unexpected gift while on stage as part of his tour for the upcoming Black Adam film—and let's just say passing a live baby through a crowd definitely has social media buzzing.
In the now-viral clip, Jonhson, 50, was onstage in Mexico City when a tiny bundle of joy was passed over to him through the crowd before the actor wrapped her up in his jacked arms for the whole audience to see.
The Rock shared the video on Instagram on Thursday, giving his followers a little more context in a lengthy caption, which read, "Our BLACK ADAM ⚡️ Tour has been electric, fun and emotional 🥹 People do cry and they hand me things - I was NOT surprised to be handed this beautiful little baby."
"Her father caught my attention because he had tears in his eyes when he held her up high and gestured for me to hold her," the Jungle Cruise star further explained. "I honestly thought he was holding a toy doll he wanted me to have as a gift."
"This beautiful, serene, present and trusting angel is Luciana. One day, I bet she'll inspire all those around her," he wrote, adding, "And whatever this moment meant for her emotional father - means it meant something special for me too."
"Love you back MEXICO and the mana is strong 🇲🇽❤️," he concluded along with the message, "Girl dads ROCK 😉💪🏾."

But many of Johnson's Instagram followers found themselves confused over the video, expressing their concern for the baby's safety while being passed to different hands across a crowd.
"I get it, but that had to be terrifying not to mention dangerous for that baby. That dad has a lot of explaining to do when he gets home," one person wrote.
"Who would hand an actor a baby through a crowd like this? 🤦♀️," someone else added.
"This is cute but not sure I'd crowd surf my infant," another wrote.
"I am a HUGE fan. But as dad I would never pass my newborn through hands of strangers. Like I cannot even fathom doing such a thing. Or even having my baby in that environment," one follower chimed in.
"That's too many hands on my baby…. Sorry," another wrote.
But of course, plenty of other fans were overjoyed to see the clip, with many finding Johnson's moment with Baby Luciana "adorable" while one commenter called the clip, "One of the greatest videos of all time ❤️🇲🇽"
"She's going to have the most epic Throwback Thursday post when she gets an Instagram⭐️" another person noted.
Johnson is currently touring in advance of the Black Adam premiere, which will mark his entrance into the DC universe. In addition to Mexico City, the Red Notice star is also hitting New York City, Toronto, Atlanta, Miami, London and Madrid, before his final tour stop in Los Angeles on Oct. 20.
The live-action superhero film will debut one day later, releasing exclusively in theaters on Oct. 21.
