Internet Personality Christine Tran Ferguson Announces Death of 15-Month-Old Son

Christine Tran Ferguson, the travel influencer behind Tour de Lust, is mourning the loss of her 15-month-old son, Asher.

In a heartbreaking update posted on Instagram July 19, Christine announced that Asher had passed away, but did not specify a cause of death.

"You’re 15 months today my little angel," Christine wrote of her late son with husband Ryan Ferguson. "Mama and dada love you so much, you brought us so much joy, and made our family complete. I have never known how much love and happiness I could have until you came into our life. You are the smartest & happiest little boy I’ve ever known."

Her tribute continued: "You were going to do amazing things and change the world I just know it. I miss your little laughs, the way you stick out your tongue when you giggled, the way you picked up your food with your tiny chubby fingers, your little dance moves, how you clapped your hands, your little feet kicking a ball, the way you grab the hockey or golf sticks for dada, you just always knew how to make everyone smile."

Christine gave further insight into her grief, writing, "my heart is utterly broken and shattered into a million pieces." She also noted that she's, understandably, still "in shock" following the loss, adding, "I just want to wake up from this unimaginable nightmare and have you back in my arms."

In her note, Christine pondered why their family has suffered this loss, noting, "You did not deserve any of this. Losing you is the hardest experience mommy and daddy has ever had to endure. Everyday has been torture without you, this pain is unbearable."

As her tribute post—which included several sweet photos of Asher—continued, Christine declared, "I pray I get to see you in my dreams every night. I just want you back so badly, but you’re never coming home and it’s killing me."

This update comes two weeks after Christine begged for a "miracle" on Instagram. She wrote at the time, "We need you, we miss your laugh, your smile, we need you here with mama & dada. Please help us pray for our precious Asher who is fighting for his life in the ICU."

The couple welcomed Asher just last year in April.
