The Internet Is in Love With Wet n Wild's Photofocus Eyeshadow Primer

"It's the only one I'll buy anymore."

There are a lot of eyeshadow primers on the beauty market these days, although some of them come with a pretty hefty price tag for a tiny tube. (For example, Urban Decay's .33 oz size of Eyeshadow Primer Potion is $22 at Sephora, and Tarte's Lid Lock Clay Eye base will cost you $21 at Ulta.)

However, leave it to the internet to find a primer that your eyelids and your wallet will love. As noted by PopSugar, Reddit user HoneyBun01 posted a love letter to Wet n Wild's Photofocus Eyeshadow Primer, which costs just under $5 at most drugstores. "This is the best drugstore eyeshadow primer I've found," HoneyBun01 wrote in the subject line, adding a photo that shows the product in action.

In the picture, the Reddit user showed off a swatch of eyeshadow with and without the primer, and it's pretty clear that the Wet n Wild tube contains some serious magic. Other Redditors seem to agree; one person wrote: "I use the Wet n Wild Photofocus eye shadow primer and absolutely LOVE it!! My makeup lasted all day (from around 8 am to 7 pm, including trip to the gym) and my eyeshadow didn’t crease!!!" Another said: "It’s the only one I’ll buy anymore, and I’ve tried everything."

It just goes to show that sometimes the price tag doesn't always indicate quality, and you can find high-performing makeup at any dollar amount. If you need me, I'll be running out to a drugstore to buy this immediately.
