The Internet Is Horrified At This Take On A Peanut Butter & Jelly Sandwich

We fully accept that people have preferences when it comes to their peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Maybe they prefer their sandwich with the crust cut off or with a couple of sliced bananas added to the mix. All are fully acceptable in our book. Now, what we won't give a pass to is the PB&J monstrosity that recently went viral on X (formerly Twitter).

In a post shared earlier this month, user @pli_cachete posed the question: "Does anyone else mix the pb & j first?" To our utter shock, attached to their post was the photo of peanut butter and jelly mixed together in a bowl. Next to the bowl was a couple of slices of bread waiting to be slathered with the peanut butter and jelly "paste."

Needless to say, the post got a number of PB&J lovers riled up in the comments. One person went straight to the point, writing "Frankly this is horrifying."

"I’m calling the police," said another user ready to take drastic measures.

Surprisingly, there were those who didn't quite see the problem with the peculiar approach to peanut butter and jelly.

"I’ve never done this but I don’t understand the hate," read one comment.

Another person went so far as to praise the hack, writing "Genius always has a touch of madness."
