Why it’s so great: Instant Pot’s most hands-off option, you can pair the gadget with your phone to create custom cooking settings, or use the brand’s app with more than 750 pre-programmed recipes. And if you have an Amazon Alexa or Google Home, you can control this model with voice commands.

Why it’s so great: Like we mentioned, this is the company’s most popular model. It works as a pressure cooker, slow cooker, rice cooker, steamer, and warmer, and also has a low-pressure setting to make yogurt. If you’re the type of person who cooks batches of food on Sundays for the following week but you’re on a tight schedule, using the DUO60 is a smart get.

Why it’s so great: For an Instant Pot with all the bells and whistles, check out this model. Why it’s so great: The most straightforward Instant Pot, the Lux is also the most affordable. While it doesn’t have a yogurt-making setting, it’s still great for steaming, sauteing, warming, and slow cooking.

Instant Vortex Plus 7-in-1 Air Fryer Oven
Why it’s so great: Okay, so this isn’t an Instant Pot. The brand released the Instant Vortex Plus in July as an answer to the air fryer clamor, and it more than delivers. With this appliance, you can air-fry, roast, broil, bake, reheat, rotisserie, and dehydrate foods—perfectly complementing the Instant Pot.
