Instagram-Famous Dog Turns Heads as a 'Real Life Snoopy'

This black and white dog looks exactly like the cartoon pup!

Bayley the miniature sheepadoodle has been on Instagram since October 2022, but he's already gained nearly 250 thousand followers on the app. This is all thanks to the adorably unique markings on his fur--though once we looked through his account, we noticed so many things about him that we loved!

@Bayley.sheepadoodle's to fame is largely thanks to one thing: he looks an awful lot like Snoopy. Even though the cartoon dog and his real-life doppelganger are from totally different species, it's impossible to ignore their similarities.

OMG--look at Bayley! He really does look like Snoopy! To be honest, we were a bit doubtful that the comparison would hold up when we first learned of Bayley's breed. An Old English Sheepdog and Poodle mix is very different than a Beagle, after all!

As People reports, Bayley's initial rise to fame came after @doodledogsclub shared a side-by-side photo of Snoopy and his lookalike--as well as a few more of Bayley's photos. The post received almost 1.5 million likes in the first 5 days it was published, and now it feels like the word 'viral' is an understatement.

Tons of people are talking about this adorable doodle, and now we're joining the club. We're just so impressed by his perfectly symmetrical markings and big, button nose!

Of course, a few of the boomers out there can't get over the difference in the dogs' breeds. But we love what @fireflyoshinesis commented on Doodle Dog Cub's post: "After googling 'black and white beagles,' this dog looks more like snoopy than a beagle ever could! Especially cause beagles' heads are too small, and they don’t have his pattern. This dog is officially live-action Snoopy." That's precisely what we're thinking, too!

There's no denying the resemblance when we see pictures of the two side-by-side. Snoopy might be a cartoon icon who never goes out of style, but we have a feeling Bayley's fame is just beginning.
