Instagram-famous dog is in ‘heaven’ living at iconic hotel

Get ready for a unique sight like no other.

Izmir Sultan is the resident good boy at Artemis Cave Suites, a cave hotel in Cappadocia, Turkey. The Insta-famous cocker spaniel is frequently featured on the unique hotel’s TikTok account.

Artemis Cave Suites features rooms carved into real caves with modern amenities but it’s also known for its incredible terrace view.

Izmir is no stranger to the breathtaking perspective. A TikTok video showed the dog leap off the couch to sneak a view from the balcony. The hotel room overlooked the rocky architecture, blue skies and dozens of colorful hot air balloons mid-flight.

The clip received over 460,000 views on TikTok.

“Holy smokes!” one user said.

“One of the most beautiful scenes I have ever seen,” another commented.

“This looks like heaven,” someone wrote.

Hot air balloons are super popular in Cappadocia because it’s so gorgeous. The region’s stunning landscape is ideal to witness from up above. So, yep, that’s Izmir’s everyday view from the terrace.

Cappadocia is known for its one-of-a-kind views and arid climate. Its natural rocky aesthetic is the result of soft porous stone born of lava deposited from volcanos that were active 2 million years ago. These massive structures are the foundation of the entire area. Residents have since carved the unique formations into hotels, homes and walkways making for a bustling area with otherworldly features.
