Insiders Say Ben Affleck 'May Have Crossed The Line' By Confiding In Ex Jennifer Garner

Anyone who saw those recent pictures of Jennifer Lopez, 54, and Ben Affleck, 51, having a “heated argument” in public will already know that things aren’t looking great for the couple, who tied the knot in July 2022 after getting back together in May the previous year.

While fans don’t know what the married couple have been fighting about, they do think it’s somewhat suspicious that the Deep Water actor was recently spotted sharing what appeared to be an “intimate moment” with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner, amid reports that the pair are growing closer and closer. The Argo director was married to the 13 Going on 30 actress between 2005 until 2015 (although the divorce was officially finalized in 2018) and they share three children: daughters Violet Anne, 17 and Seraphina Rose, 13, and son Samuel, 11. But fans are wondering whether Lopez and Affleck's arguments are *because* of his close relationship with his baby mama, or whether their arguments are *leading him* to confide in her. While no one has definitive answers, there are certainly a lot of thoughts about the situation!

As we previously mentioned, we currently don’t know why the "On The Floor" singer and the Gone Girl actor are fighting in public, nor do we know exactly why he and his ex are getting closer; but the JLo Beauty founder is reportedly "furious" that they are spending so much time together, and reportedly has an "intense" jealousy over their bond. We know they are and always will be co-parents to their three children, but is their bond a little *too* close? Some insiders think so…

"Ben’s reliance on Jen as a confidante may have crossed the line," an insider reportedly told Life & Style, before revealing some of the things he is rumored to have told his ex-wife about his new wife. "He’s made some shocking confessions to her about J-Lo’s temper and the ugly texts she sends him, which he shouldn’t have done," the source continued, adding: "Ben admitted that [J-Lo's] notorious diva attitude can be very hard to handle."

The source reportedly also went on to say that J-Lo hasn’t been shy about texting Garner about her problems with the situation, which understandably puts her in a "difficult" position. Let's not forget that Garner is with longtime boyfriend John Miller, so this can't be easy on him either! According to the insider, Garner "really does want to like J-Lo, for the kids' sake," but "Ben is making that difficult." They added: "His latest gripes changed her perspective."

"Ben has insisted to J-Lo that she’s the only woman for him and that he just cares for Jen because of the children and what they’ve been through," the source continued, adding, "But that didn’t do much to relieve J-Lo’s concerns. She’s insisting that Ben make her his No. 1 priority again — not Jen."

If we are to believe another source, who reportedly spoke to the Daily Mail, it seems like Affleck *is* making his new bride his top priority, and she is fully supportive of their "happy co-parenting situation." They said: "One of the things that made [Garner] and [Affleck] get to a better place was – and is – J-Lo. Ben is healthy. The drama of the past and the emotions of divorce are long gone and they are all making it work." Who or what do we believe?!
