Tom Ford took the Fashion Week crowd on a psychedelic ride down Rodeo Drive last night. His Fall 2018 show inside New York’s Park Avenue Armory was an ’80s-inspired party, and the front row was filled with VIP babes. Julianne Moore, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, and Doutzen Kroes were all dressed, or course, in Ford’s finest. Ms. Kroes was kind enough to let Vogue’s camera follow her through the evening, from her dress fitting to the backstage chaos and a postshow moment with the designer. Kroes looked spectacular in her sexy, body-hugging black gown. It was the ideal look for an evening spent watching Ford’s glittering collection come to life, even if she had a bit of trouble getting there in it—maneuvering in and out of her car was a struggle in the bombshell gown. Here, Kroes gives us an inside look at the Tom Ford show and lets us live, for a minute at least, like one of his very important ladies.
