Though she's relatively new to the real estate game, actress Sydney Sweeney is on a track that might leave her with a real estate portfolio that could rival George Clooney's. The actress got her medium-sized break in 2018 on the Netflix show Everything Sucks!, but it wasn't until a year later that she got her big break in streaming service Max's gritty teen series Euphoria, starring Zendaya. Since 2019, Sweeney has appeared in other beloved movies and series, like Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon a Time in Hollywood and Max's White Lotus series. It wasn't until 2021 (the year the White Lotus's first season aired) that the star purchased her first A-list style home in none other than Los Angeles. Since that first home purchase, Sweeney has bought two other properties, one of which has a heartwarming history.

2021: Sydney Sweeney Buys First L.A. Tudor

This charming Tudor style home marks the actress's first real estate purchase. "I always thought that when I turned 18, I’d have all this money and I’d buy back my parents’ house and put them all back together again. And I never was able to, and I never did," she told The Associated Press in 2021. "So now being able to be in a house is such an incredible, humbling, amazing accomplishment that I still can’t believe I was able to pull off."

According to the New York Post, Sweeney paid $3 million for the stunning 3,200-square-foot mansion in the Westwood neighborhood of Los Angeles—a rare find, as the last time it was on the market was in 1972. While you'd expect the home to be completely dated, with five-bedroom, four-bathroom traditional-style home is quite beautiful. It sits on a hillside and has touches of exposed brick throughout, as well as gorgeous wood-beamed ceilings. The primary bedroom has a fireplace, a vaulted wood ceiling, and a bright built-in reading alcove. Her backyard looks like a fairy garden, complete with a covered brick patio and BBQ area. While we're sure the actress has made some changes to the home (most likely in the truly outdated kitchen), the bones of the place are undoubtedly breathtaking.

2022: Sydney Sweeney Buys Her Great Grandparents' Home

While on The Kelly Clarkson Show, Sweeney revealed that she re-purchased her generational family home—no, we're not crying! "My great-grandma had this beautiful house, it's a two-bedroom, cute house that they lived in. My grandma was born in it, my mom was born in it, and then as the kids got older, they built on the property another home," she told Clarkson. "When my great-grandpa passed away and my great-grandmother got old, they just couldn't afford to keep it anymore. Last year, I called up the owners and I said, 'I want to buy my great-grandma's house back.'"

Besides the story from Sweeney, there is no other information online about the home that we could find. The actress spent a lot of her childhood in Idaho near the Washington border, so it's unclear which state the house is in. However, we do know who Sweeney's neighbor is: "My 'grandy' still lives in the house next door, so I'm neighbors with my 'grandy' now," she shared.

2023: Sydney Sweeney Purchases a Bel Air Fixer Upper

Just looking at the photos of this property, you might be scratching your head, wondering why in the world Sweeney would purchase a home that appears so rundown from the outside. However, for only (relatively speaking) $6.2 million, Sweeney bought this 1930s estate that's surrounded by mansions worth $20 million and above. We know from her Tudor that the actress has a penchant for older homes, so we can assume she has some stunning plans for this 4,477-square-foot fixer upper in Bel Air.

The mansion sits on 1.25 acres of heavily wooded land that one could argue is overgrown, and it has five bedrooms and four bathrooms. She won a bidding war for the home, paying $250,000 over the original asking price, so she could obviously see great potential in the estate, which also has a guest house. The home was last purchased in 1984 by the son of famous screenwriter Delmer Daves for only $350,000. There are no interior photos of the mansion, but according to Elite Agent, the real estate listing hinted that both the homes on the property may need to be torn down. We're hoping Sweeney can save some of the Old Hollywood bones and charm, but it's unclear how big of a renovation she and her fiancé, Jonathan Davino, are up for.
