Inside Saks Fifth Avenue's Fashion Week Kickoff Party

New York Fashion Week 2020 kicked off with a bang at Saks Fifth Avenue’s L’Avenue on Tuesday night. The restaurant celebrated its one-year anniversary with an event co-hosted by Grammy, Tony, and Emmy Award winner Billy Porter and Saks President Marc Metrick. The party’s theme was Uncommon Chic and, indeed, the celebration was anything but ordinary, with piercings by Maria Tash, 26 piñatas, and a five-foot-tall champagne tower. Guests included Game of Thrones’ Gwendoline Christie, Russian Doll’s Natasha Lyonne, The Bachelor’s Tyler Cameron, and model Winnie Harlow.
