Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott are not romantically together now despite his flirty Instagram comment that received media attention. But they are on extraordinarily good terms for exes, Us Weekly reports. A source explained how Jenner felt about the “a beauty” comment and what the relationship between the co-parents of two is like currently. Jenner and Scott’s most recent split was reported in January, but the pair has been on and off throughout their romance.

A source said Jenner was flattered by the public show of support for her, but gestures like that are just part of his character regardless of their romantic relationship status. “Kylie thought it was really sweet of Travis to show his support for her in such a public way,” the source said. “That’s just who Travis is though. Even when they were a couple, he was never shy about showing big displays of affection and love.”

The source added that they are doing really well co-parenting their two children Stormi, 5, and Aire, 1. “Even though they’re not together, they have an amazing bond and are still best friends,” the source said. “They have an open line of communication and a remarkable coparenting relationship. They’ve always made sure their kids know that they’re both there for them at all times and that will never change. Everybody knows that Kylie and Travis have had their ups and downs over the years, but they have deep respect and admiration for each other no matter what.”

For those wondering whether this opens the door to Scott and Jenner reconciling once more, Us pointed out that in February, a source told the outlet that Jenner viewed the relationship as done for now. “[Kylie] has no idea what the future holds, but right now she doesn’t see any type of a reconciliation,” the source said then. “At the end of the day, the only thing that matters to Kylie is what’s best for her kids, period. She knows Travis is an amazing father and that’s the only thing that she cares about.”
