Inside Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik’s First Date Night as Mom and Dad

Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik are settling into parent life nicely since welcoming their first child in late September.

On October 8, Hadid shared some videos from her first “date night” with Malik after giving birth to their daughter—no pics of the baby or an update on her name, unfortunately. In a series of cooking videos, Hadid chronicled making Half Baked Harvest's “brown sage butter chicken piccata with mushroom pasta” recipe. “Heaven,” she wrote on one video.

The 25-year-old supermodel made sure to show off the final product and even give a little update on her baby girl. “Mom and Dad’s first date night," she wrote. "She’s in the other room with Oma, but miss her [so much] lol.”

Oma, of course, is Hadid mother, Yolanda Hadid. Earlier this October, sources told E! that Yolanda is currently living with the couple and is acting as their “built-in nurse.”

“They are so grateful to have her,” the source said, before giving an update on Auntie Bella. “Bella [Hadid] was very emotional first seeing [the baby] and has already been having fun shopping for her and dressing her up.”

As for “mama,” the source shared that “Gigi is very tired but is already an amazing mom. The first couple of weeks have been a hard transition, but she hasn’t complained and is very elated to be a mom.”

Hopefully, this date night serves as a welcome, restful break for Hadid and Malik. Still, it's more than clear how much love this child is feeling from her parents. “Our girl joined us earth-side this weekend and she's already changed our world,” Hadid wrote on Instagram on September 23. “So in love.”

“To try [to] put into words how I am feeling right now would be an impossible task,” Malik wrote that same day. “The love I feel for this tiny human is beyond my understanding. Grateful to know her, proud to call her mine, & thankful for the life we will have together.”
