In a twist to the affair between Fani Willis and her special prosecutor, Nathan Wade, new evidence suggests that their romantic entanglement may have begun long before they admitted — and with a condominium unit also at the center of it, too.

Phone records, recently unveiled in new court documents obtained by The Post, indicate a pattern of late-night visits by Wade to Willis’s apartment, raising questions about the timeline of their relationship.

According to the cellphone data presented in court, Wade frequented the vicinity of Fulton County District Attorney Willis’s condo in Hapeville at least 35 times before their confessed affair.

One such visit even occurred prior to Willis appointing Wade to prosecute former President Donald Trump in her election fraud case in Georgia.

While Willis acknowledged the visits during a special hearing, she sidestepped specifics regarding the frequency and timing.

However, legal representatives pushing for Willis’s disqualification from the Trump case tapped a criminal defense investigator to delve deeper into the phone records.

The investigation, based on AT&T records, uncovered data detailing Wade’s presence in Willis’s immediate vicinity.

Investigator Charles Mittelstadt, in his report to Fulton County Superior Court, emphasized the sheer volume of evidence. He highlighted two specific dates that caught his attention, revealing Wade’s presence near Willis’s apartment in September 2021 until the wee hours of the morning, followed by a late-night rendezvous in November of the same year.

The apartment in question, rented from Willis’s former close friend Robin Bryan-Yeartie, became a clandestine hub for the alleged affair. Bryan-Yeartie herself testified in court, claiming she believed the DA’s relationship with Wade had begun as early as 2019, recounting instances of witnessing them in intimate embraces.

Photos obtained by The Post show a look inside the condo itself.

Made up of two bedrooms and two bathrooms, the home occupies about 1,400 square feet.

Features include a laundry room, dining room and a solarium.

Rent runs around $1,800 per month.

Minutes to Hartsfield-Jackson Airport, the condo has building amenities that include a fitness center, a social room, secure electronic access and a gazebo with a grill.

Mittelstadt highlighted times that refuted both Wade’s and Willis’s testimony that they had not begun a relationship prior to November 2021, and that he had only visited the apartment on occasion to discuss business.

“I was directed into a deeper analysis on two specific dates: September 11-12, 2021 (before I understand Mr Wade was hired) and November 29-30 (prior to what I understand was the in-court testimony that the romantic relationship began in 2022).

“Specifically, on September 11, 2021, Mr Wade’s phone left the Doraville area and arrived within the geoface located on the Dogwood address at 10.45pm,” Mittelstadt said.

“The phone remained there until September 12 at 3.28am at which time the phone traveled directly to towers located in East Cobb consistent with his routine pinging at his residence in the area. The phone arrived in East Cobb at approximately 4.05am, and records demonstrate he sent a text at 4.20am to Ms Willis.

“Additionally, on November 29, 2021, Mr Wade’s phone was pinging on the East Cobb towers near his residence and, following a call from Ms Willis at 11.32pm, while the call continued, his phone left the East Cobb area just after midnight and arrived within the geofence located on the Dogwood address at 12.43am on November 30, 2021. The phone remained there until 4.55am,” he added.

Mittelstadt’s report also showed Wade and Willis had made more than 2,000 voice calls to each other and exchanged just less than 12,000 text messages over an 11-month period in 2021.

Both Wade and Willis, aged 51 and 53 respectively, took the stand to testify regarding their alleged relationship, denying spending nights together at the gated community condo.

Wade, entangled in a divorce from his wife Jocelyn, stated under oath that he had not frequented the condo more than 10 times before November 2021.

Sadow, Trump’s lead attorney, grilled Wade about the possibility of phone records indicating his presence at the condo before the specified date, to which Wade refuted, asserting the records would be unequivocally wrong.

Wade replied: “If phone record reflected that? Yes sir.”

Sadow: “They’d be wrong?”

Despite attempts to attribute his presence in the area to routine activities such as airport visits or dining out, the prosecution’s analytics expert, Mittelstadt, countered with assertions of pinpoint accuracy.

Meanwhile, Willis, in her own testimony, struggled to recall the frequency of Wade’s visits to the condo, initially stating uncertainty before reluctantly conceding that it could have been “more than 10 times.”

She downplayed the significance of his presence, citing occasions of him simply picking her up or grabbing a meal together.

And despite her attempts to downplay the situation, Willis maintained that only one of her daughters had possibly stayed overnight at the condo.
