Colin Cowie and Danny Peuscovich hosted a week-long celebration in South Africa.
On Saturday February 22, celebrity wedding and event planner Colin Cowie (known as Oprah's go-to for events) married commodities trader Danny Peuscovich in Cape Town, South Africa. The grooms—dressed in custom Saville Row tuxedos—exchanged vows at Boschendal Vineyard in front of 200 guests, including Wolfgang Puck, Eric Ripert, Dennis Basso, and Todd English. The choice of location was particularly meaningful, as Cowie is South African, and the couple became engaged in Cape Town last year. Instead of rings, they exchanged custom Jacob + Co. bracelets that were blessed by every guest. The reception (which capped off a week of celebrations, including a beach party and traditional African bush dinner) included opera performances, tango dancing, and a decadent three course feast. Celebrations continued into dawn—the last guest reportedly went home at 7:00 a.m.
whozit: In the late 90's when trump could no longer obtain business loans from American banks due to his numerous bankruptcies, loan defaults and accusations of money laundering, he turned to the German based Deutsche Bank which over the years paid billions of dollars in fines to financial regulators all over the globe for unethical and illegal activities including tax evasion and espionage. To make a long story short, trump secured from Deutsche Bank multi-millions of dollars in credit which, according to numerous media outlets, several bank insiders was underwritten by the Russian state owned bank VTB and "laundered" to a Deutsche Bank owned subsidiary in New York which in turn dispersed the funds to trump. And this is the basis for trump's refusal to divest himself from his business holdings and to allow any of his financial records to be released to Congress.
