Inside the Best Little White House in Texas

Plenty of people grow up dreaming about one day becoming President and living in the White House. But if running for the highest public office in the United States isn’t your bag, no biggie! Because now, anyone with $15 mil can live there. Well… kind of.

If you’re willing to trade Pennsylvania Avenue for Dallas, Texas, you could find yourself living in this mini manse that’s a dead ringer for the Obamas’ abode. With its four bedroom, nine bathroom, 16,041-square-foot interior, its size is a far cry from the actual White House’s 54,900 square feet—but its interiors are no less grand. (We also imagine there aren’t Secret Service guys everywhere.)

According to its Zillow profile, the 3.3 acre estate includes antique 15th, 17th, and 18th century French fireplaces, gleaming marble and limestone flooring, a wine cellar with vaulted ceilings, a home theatre, dramatic Italian chandeliers, painted wall murals, several sitting rooms, and a beautifully curated yard. In a word, it’s ornate. In a second word, it’s… intense.
