Inside an Art Auction at the Rainbow Room

The Hudson Valley took up residence in Midtown Manhattan on October 15, when Storm King—the 500-acre museum located in New Windsor, New York—held its annual gala and afterparty at the Rainbow Room. The evening honored the artist Lynda Benglis and collector and philanthropist Nancy A. Nasher, both of whom received the Storm King Award, and drew a crowd including Sarah Sze, Francis Kere, Paula Cooper, Gigi Mortimer, and more for drinks, dinner, dancing and a silent auction featuring works by artists including Richard Serra.
