Inside the 57th New York Film Festival

The 57th New York Film Festival came and went in a flash. Film critics were wowed by the premiere of Martin Scorcese's The Irishman, while filmmakers like Olivier Assayas, Nick Broomfield and Francis Ford Coppola delighted the audiences with new titles, talks and throwbacks. The red carpet was awash with star power, featuring the likes of Penelope Cruz, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Edward Norton, Willem Dafoe and Bruce Willis, to name but a few, while premiering films like Motherless Brooklyn and Wasp Network.
