Whether you follow them on social so their latest workouts and recipes pop up on your phone all day every day, have a reminder ring when it’s time to log in and grab a spot in their upcoming class IRL, or sweat alongside them via their app, keeping track of some of the best of the best is a great way to keep your motivation, mood and your mindset a 10/10. That’s why we reached out to some of our fitness faves to find out all the things — what they do first thing to start their day, how they stress less, what gets them excited to move.

Jaycee Gossett

Founding teacher of The Class, a unique cardio-centric workout that incorporates intentional vocalization coupled with repetitive and rhythmic movement and music.

Morning Routine

My first priority every morning is cuddling with my dog, Chili. Next up is hydration with lemon water, apple cider vinegar, and Apothakary x The Class Morning Flow, which contains a mix of turmeric and ginger, plus black and cayenne pepper. Then coffee! My husband and I rotate taking Chili for walks in the morning and getting in playtime before I teach The Class or get online to start working. My morning skincare routine includes various yummy-smelling products including Beauty Counter’s All Bright C Serum.

Nighttime Calm-Down Ritual

My perfect winddown process starts early. (I am that friend who wants a 5 p.m. dinner reservation.)Deep sleep is one of the ways my body feels fully recovered. But before I shower and get into bed, I find it cathartic to tidy up the house and prepare for the next day. In my evening shower, I do some energetic clearing and visualize my energy returning to myself. I took some courses at The Clairvoyance Institute of Hawaii, which have been powerful to integrate throughout my days.

Favorite Fitness Move

I enjoy all the moves we do in The Class. Currently, I am loving all things that come off of a plank. Planking is great for full-body activation. It ignites the core, back body, upper body, and lower body. It is also a juicy move to meditate in and work with thoughts and sensations via breath and sound.

Music Must-Have

Listening to music is a big part of being a teacher at The Class, and it is such a gift to get to be with music every day. Generally, I tune into genres and music styles based on the feeling I am looking to create. Some days it’s searching for new covers and mixes, and some days it’s looking for the perfect build and beat drop. We burn through music pretty fast at The Class, so I am continuously on the hunt for new gems. We feature curated playlists by our Class Teachers in our weekly email newsletter as well.

Daily Mantra

"Must have coffee," is a regular mantra. And once I do, turning my attention to my breath helps me in many daily situations. A simple breathe-in-and-breathe-out mantra can be very powerful. You can do it in a meeting, in traffic, returning emails, or in a challenging conversation. Some days my mantra is, "You can make it to Friday." Some days it is, "This is me and this is you," which I find very helpful for boundary-setting and energy separation.

Go-to Stress Relievers

Taking The Class of course! If I am not teaching, I am taking The Class as a student, hiking with friends, and walking around the west side of LA. Hot baths with all the salts, oils, and accouterments are frequent for me. I enjoy recharging in quiet and ideally off screens. My skincare ritual also helps me de-stress. It includes rose water mists and The Class x Routine Face and Body Oil.

Innovation Inspiration

It’s exciting to see the awareness of mindful movement on the rise. As pioneers in this space, The Class is committed to creating a space that supports mental, emotional, and physical health. We all need it. Our mental health has a profound impact on our physical health. We recently added yoga and meditation practices to our digital studio as well as a series of audio-only practices that enable you to take The Class with you outside.

The Class now offers Retreatments, the perfect combination of travel and wellness in amazing destinations across the world such as Bali, New Mexico, Italy, and Hawaii, dedicated to allowing students to step back into their lives emotionally lighter and rejuvenated.

Megan Roup

Founder of The Sculpt Society, a high-energy sculpt and dance hybrid that utilizes low-impact weights to boost your heart rate set to fun, dance party-style tunes.

Morning Routine

I wake up at around 6:15 am and start my day with warm lemon water and a coffee. Coffee is a must for me. I then practice meditation and journaling. If I’m teaching a live workout on the TSS app, I always review my content and test the connection and lighting before getting started. After my live, I reconnect with my daughter for some snuggles. My husband, Morgan, is a great partner and keeps Harlow entertained and calm while I film.

I usually fuel up with eggs on Ezekiel bread and Truff hot sauce. Sometimes Morgan and I will go for a walk down the street to grab (another) coffee. I’ll connect with my team and kick off my day, which could include a private class, programming new workouts, working on marketing initiatives, creating social content, implementing user feedback, or brainstorming with other brands on fun collaborations.

Nighttime Calm-Down Ritual

I love to read before bed and try hard to eliminate screen time and doom scrolling. I often take CBD, Magnesium, or Beam’s Dream Powder to help me get better sleep. I also listen to restful meditations.

Favorite Fitness Move

It may not be everyone’s favorite but I love planks! You get so much bang for your buck with planks because they are truly full-body exercises. There are also so many variations on planks that you can do to continue to challenge yourself.

Music Must-Have

You will always find a throwback '90s hip hop or R&B song in my classes.

Daily Mantra

Commit to less so you can show up more.

Go-to Stress Reliever(s)

A walk outside. Less screen time. Stepping away from my computer and taking a few deep breaths. Movement will always be my #1 stress buster.

Innovation Inspirations

I’m personally excited about the evolution of The Sculpt Society as we roll out more content that’s focused on life moments that matter — bridal, prenatal, post-natal, and beyond. We recently launched our bridal program to help change the narrative around body image tied to wedding day prep with a focus on fitness, lifestyle, and mindfulness to help brides feel strong, confident, and empowered.

Jeannette Jenkins

A celebrity trainer who helps Pink and Alicia Keys stay fit and creator of The Hollywood Trainer Club which offers hundreds of workouts and recipes, plus motivational support.

Morning Routine

I wake up at 4 or 5 a.m., drink 24 oz. of water, then do a meditation and gratitude prayer. Next, I drink a cup of black coffee and look at my to-do list. I check in with my Director of Operations to make sure we’re aligned on all business matters related to The Hollywood Trainer Club. I work three to four hours on a range of tasks from editing, responding to business emails, creating new content and programming, accounting, and new business. At 9 or 10 a.m., I typically get my personal workout in.

Nighttime Calm-Down Ritual

I grew up playing every sport and I find peace watching sports. So, I am typically watching sports at night to calm down. I also make sure to hydrate with another 25 oz. of water that I have beside my bed and I take 400 mg of magnesium. Sometimes I sip on chamomile tea. My head hits the pillow and it’s lights out (thanks to my daily workouts).  If I have any concerns, I release tension by writing down my thoughts so they are physically out of my body and off my mind.

Favorite Fitness Move

A rollover from Mat Pilates, because it stretches the entire posterior chain and it feels amazing. It stretches the hamstrings, lower back, and neck, and also strengthens the core.

Music Must-Have

I always have a Pink album on — either her newest album, Trustfall, or Greatest Hits…So Far!!!.

For pilates and stretching, I listen to Alicia Keys, and I always have a good hip-hop playlist packed with Nicki Minaj, Jay-Z, Kendrick Lamar, Biggie, Migos, Rick Ross, Drake, T.I, and a good Soca set!

Music Must-Have

Today is another opportunity to be great!

Go-to Stress Reliever(s)

A workout is my #1 stress reliever. Next is prayer and action. This means taking action to protect my peace, which may be as simple as changing my perspective or as detailed as creating an action plan to create a new outcome. Also, saying “no” to things that are not in alignment with my purpose.

Innovation Inspiration

I’m most excited about people socially coming back together to exercise in groups. The pandemic created a lot of home exercisers and I’m happy that people are exercising at home but physical, social interaction is so important. I’m also excited about doing more in-person events and continuing to encourage my following on social media and in my club community. People will always need fitness, social interaction, motivation, encouragement, and community and it’s my life’s work.

Kayla Itsines

Creator of Sweat, a one-stop, on-demand shop for every type of workout, including Pilates, Barre, HIIT, and strength training.

Morning Routine

I always try to wake up before my little ones so I can have some time to myself before the day begins. Once I'm up, I like to get moving by walking on the treadmill. It's a great way to get my heart rate up and clear my head. After that, it's time to hit the shower and get ready for the day. I like to keep things simple when it comes to my makeup routine. Then I grab a quick bite to eat and a coffee to fuel up for the day ahead. Once the kids are up, it's all about getting them sorted for the day —breakfast, getting dressed, the whole nine yards. I make sure my daughter Arna is ready for daycare, and then it's time for me to start work!

Nighttime Calm-Down Ritual

My nighttime ritual is all about winding down and getting ready for a good night's sleep. Once the kids are down, I like to start by making myself a cup of tea and breaking off a few pieces of dark chocolate — it's a little indulgence that I look forward to every night. After that, I hit the shower and do my skincare routine. I'm all about keeping my skin looking and feeling its best. Once I'm ready for bed, I jump in and get cozy, putting on one of my favorite Netflix shows to relax and unwind. Right now, I'm really into Blacklist, Unstable, Emily in Paris, and The Night Agent — they're all so good!

Favorite Fitness Move

Chin-ups are such a boss move. They require so much effort, strength, and dedication. Plus, they make you feel strong and powerful!

Music Must-Have

When I’m working out, my go-to is anything upbeat and high-intensity to get me moving. To wind down, I really love the Spotify Chill mix.

Daily Mantra

Consistency is key: Small steps every day add up to big results. When you do anything consistently, it becomes a habit, and once you make working out a regular part of your routine, it will become much easier to stick to.

Go-to Stress Relievers

I have a couple of go-to activities that really help me relax and unwind. First up is cleaning. I know it might sound a little strange, but there's something about tidying up my space and getting things organized that really helps me feel calm and in control. My other go-to is exercise. Whether I'm hitting the gym or just going for a walk outside, getting my body moving and breaking a sweat is one of the best ways I know to release tension.

Innovation Inspiration

Personally, I'm most excited about continuing to get stronger in my body after giving birth to Jax in January. It's been an incredible journey so far as I continue to push myself and work toward my goals. Beyond that, I'm really interested in exploring the broader world of women's health and all the ways that we can support ourselves in body, mind, and spirit.

Massy Arias

CEO of Tru Supplements, as well as @mawarriors, where the fitness pro offers programs that combine workouts, nutrition advice, affirmations, and journaling.

Morning Routine

I wake up at 5:30 a.m. The first thing that goes into my body is a full glass of lukewarm water with electrolytes from TRU Hydrate, my supplement brand. While drinking water, I turn on my essential oil diffuser (my favorite is UpLift from Hobby Lobby), read my bible, and journal. Then I make my daughter, Indi, breakfast and pack her lunch. I wake her up at 6:30 a.m. and by 7:30 a.m. I am dropping her off at school. Next, I have a call with my team, and I start working and check in on social media before training my clients Yvonne Orji, Jordin Sparks, or Adrienne Bailon.

Nighttime Calm-Down Ritual

I start dimming the lights by 6:30 p.m., and Indi and I have our cuddle time. We usually watch a series or a movie together and read a book. Then it is my time to decompress. I journal at the end of the day and prep for the next day by looking over my schedule. I’m in bed by 9:30 p.m.

Favorite Fitness Move

Elevated cat-cow. The cat-cow in yoga helps relieve stress from menstrual cramps, lower back pain, and sciatica pain. This pose increases the flexibility of the neck, shoulders, and spine while also stretching the muscles of the hips, back, abdomen, and chest.

Music Must-Haves

Labrinth, Sia, Bad Bunny, Shakira, Diplo, and Afrobeats.

Daily Mantra

You don’t have to, you get to. You never lose — either you win or you learn.

Go-to Stress Reliever(s)

Hiking in nature, switching my phone to airplane mode, and belly breath work.

Innovation Inspiration

What I’m most excited about is building the Más Vida and Tru Supplements brands. Currently, my platform is a one-stop shop for movement and nutrition, but in the next few months, we will be integrating professionals outside of fitness for overall health and wellness, which includes mental health as a priority. I’m also very excited to get back into the community and connect in person with my tribe. On the side of Tru Supplements, I’m excited about our new hydration product, Tru Hydrate, which has double the electrolytes and no sugar to keep everyone energized and hydrated.
