Individual arrested after ‘incident’ at Prince George’s school
Less than a week after Prince George attended his first day of school at Thomas’s Battersea, an individual was arrested following an incident at the private institution.

According to the Metropolitan Police, a 40-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of attempted burglary. Law enforcement said in a statement, “The arrest at 14:15hrs on Wednesday, 13 September relates to an incident at Thomas’ Battersea School on Tuesday, 12 September when an individual gained access to its premises.”
“The woman was arrested in the vicinity of the school and has been taken to a south London police station where she remains in custody,” the statement continued. The police, who are part of the protective security arrangements for the royal four-year-old, noted that they are working with the school to review its security arrangements.

Prince George attended his first day of school on September 7. The future King was accompanied by his father, Prince William on his big day. Ben Thomas, who is the principal of the group of Thomas’s London Day Schools, previously told reporters that providing a safe environment for Prince George and other students is a priority.

He said: "Our aim for him, as well as for all of our pupils, is to provide a safe and secure and happy environment where he feels supported by a kind and loving community. That’s all we will be trying to achieve for him.”
