An Independent Woman’s Guide to Independence Day Dressing
There was a time when dressing up for the Fourth of July was as easy as red, white, and blue. But that was then, and this is now—overly patriotic getups feel somewhat out of place in 2018. That doesn’t mean you can’t dress for the occasion, though. Consider striped pajamas in lieu of flag-like regalia. Or how about quilt-like patchwork for a folksy take on the festivities? When in doubt, mix in a bit of blue jean—because what could be more American than that?
