Incredibly Rare Black Rhino Born at English Zoo and It's Adorable
Between 1970 and 1995, the population of black rhinos decreased by around 98% which led them to be classified as critically endangered. Recently, the Chester Zoo in Upton-By-Chester in the UK announced their rare black rhino named Zuri gave birth to a little calf.

The sweet video, shared by the Facebook account for the Chester Zoo, shows Zuri's baby happily trotting along and she is just too cute for words.
According to the press release, the female calf was safely delivered onto a bed of soft sand by new mum Zuri on Sunday 12 November at 2:45pm, following a 15-month pregnancy and the pair are said to be inseparable.

Our expert rhino team say it’s “quite unusual” for a calf to be born in daylight, which gave keepers the unique opportunity to capture the special moment on camera. Conservationists at the zoo say the birth of a healthy calf will help global efforts to prevent the species from disappearing altogether.
There are less than 600 black rhinos found across Kenya, Tanzania and Rwanda.

Conservation efforts have been undertaken to protect and rehabilitate black rhino populations. These efforts include anti-poaching initiatives, habitat conservation, and breeding programs in captivity.
