Ina Garten And Melissa McCarthy Are Filming A New Special Where They'll Make Cocktails And Chat

Two of my best friends in my mind, Melissa McCarthy and Ina Garten, revealed recently that they are teaming up for a special in which they will chat, make cocktails, and probably be ridiculously charming!

Ina posted a photo of Melissa on her Instagram last week, asking fans to submit questions they'd like Ina to ask her about "acting/food/life." Ina also revealed the two would be having Zoom cocktails during the special, which will be available for streaming on discovery+. People submitted questions on everything from Bridesmaids to Gilmore Girls to what Melissa likes to cook at home.

Though Ina didn't have a specific air date at the time of her post, Southern Living reports that according to a press release, the special, called Cocktails and Tall Tales with Ina Garten and Melissa McCarthy, will be available to watch on March 26 on discovery+. Ina will obviously be calling in from her home in East Hampton, New York, while Melissa will be calling in from outside Sydney, Australia.

The release goes on to say that the pair will be exploring "a new cocktail concoction" during the special and that their husbands are expected to make an appearance to toast as well. Melissa was just about as jazzed to be chatting with Ina and Jeffrey as any of us would be, which just makes us love her even more!!

“The fact that Ben [Falcone] and I are having a double-date via Zoom, with our soon to be new best friends Ina and Jeffrey Garten seems like a wonderful fever dream. I mean, two of our daughter’s first words were Ina and ganache…Seriously," Melissa wrote.
