For die-hard fans of any movie, being a part of the action is the ultimate dream. The Disney resorts try to make their attractions as immersive as possible and for those who love Star Wars, you'll soon be able to have the ultimate out-of-this-world experience in the form of a new dinner show.

Plans for the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser hotel were announced in 2017, but progress was halted due to the pandemic. The Galactic Starcruiser will have all sorts of activities for guests to enjoy including a lounge, dinner show, tours of the ship, and more.

According to reports from Inside the Magic, guests will be able to decide how much they want to be involved in the experience. Those choices include accepting missions from the Resistance or the First Order and training with a lightsaber.

When the Galactic Starcruiser was first announced, there was no information about the dinner party, but images obtained by Inside the Magic show that guests will be seated at tables and surrounding stages will feature performers. It's unclear if those performers will be Disney Cast Members or holograms, but either way, it will be a dining experience to remember.

Unlike the Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge attraction at Disney World, the Galactic Starcruiser will be more over-the-top, modern, and sleek. There's no opening date yet but Disney's website says it's coming in 2021. It will be a contrast to the grainy and dusty feel of Galaxy's Edge and will be a memorable two-night getaway for Star Wars fans during their stay.
