An Immersive Great Gatsby Production in NYCDesign by Michael Stillwell

Immersive Everywhere's production of The Great Gatsby, which has run for seven years in the UK, is making a move across the pond to New York City. Starting in March, you will be able to attend The Great Gatsby at the Gatsby Mansion at the Park Central Hotel New York. The show invites audience members into the world of Gatsby, allowing them to interact with the characters from F. Scott Fitzgerald's famous novel.

"You are invited to one of Jay Gatsby's infamous parties," the description reads. "As invites go, this is the hottest ticket in town. A world of red-hot rhythms, bootleg liquor, and pure jazz age self-indulgence awaits. Spend the evening dancing and clinking glasses with Nick Carraway, Daisy and Tom Buchanan, Myrtle Wilson, and Jay Gatsby himself. As the champagne flows, all the drama unfolds. Dress to the nines and immerse yourself in this heart racing adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s seminal tale." The 14-person cast will be announced at a later date, according to a release.

There are 59 possible ways to experience Gatsby, which total 11 hours of storytelling. "We’ve always tried to keep the show alive by changing elements of the production," producer Brian Hook told Town & Country in 2020.

Performances of The Great Gatsby will start March 9, 2023. A 1920s dress code is encouraged, but not required.
