This just in: The new Mirrorball champions of Dancing With the Stars season 30 are NBA star Iman Shumpert and Daniella Karagach.

While Iman has been a strong contender for the title from the start, the 31-year-old Brooklyn Nets player had to beat out some tough competitors in Monday night's finale, including Peloton's Cody Rigsby, The Talk cohost Amanda Kloots and Dance Moms star JoJo Siwa.

Iman started and finished the night off strong with two perfect scores for his Cha Cha and Foxtrot fusion dance number to "September" by Earth, Wind and Fire and freestyle medley to "Lose Control" by Missy Elliott featuring Ciara and Fat Man Scoop and "Bounce" by DJ Clent. Though each celebrity pairing did amazing with their fusion dance routines and fan-favorite freestyles, Iman's strong scores from the judges and his enthusiastic fan base ultimately won out.

Of course, Iman's fans immediately began celebrating on Twitter when host Tyra Banks revealed that he had won. "Congratulations IMAN and DANIELLA…I had goosebumps with that last performance, y’all this is well-deserved again congratulations!" one fan tweeted. "Thank you @DancingABC & America for doing the right thing #IMAN #DWTS @imanshumpert #daniella SO WELL DESERVED," another said.

But predictably, those rooting for JoJo, also a strong dancer and fan favorite in season 30, were not so pleased with the results. "I think jojo got robbed big time #DWTS," someone tweeted. "My heart DROPPED when Jojo and Jenna didn’t win #DWTSfinale #DWTS," a different fan noted.

Regardless of fan opinions, we can all agree that season 30 was one for the books. According to People, Iman became the first basketball player to ever win the show or reach the finale. History was also made by the runner up; JoJo's involvement on the show marked the first time a contestant danced with a same-sex partner.

All in all, there's so much to celebrate. Major congrats are in order for Iman and all the Dancing With the Stars finalists. Here's hoping we see the show come back next fall for round 31.
