Who better to inspire heatwave dressing than the Greco-Roman god of the sun? One of the most important deities in mythology, Apollo was born on the island of Delos—said to be the brightest place in the Western world due to the metal found in the rocks that reflects the strong Greek sun. Not only are sun and light attributed to Apollo, he’s also heralded as the god of music, truth, healing and poetry. His influence was—and in many ways still is— exceptionally, incredibly impressive; you only need to look at the countless temples built in his name to see that. So what would the Sun God covet if he were reigning over 2018?
